Update from our missionaries, The Gibbs in Vanuatu

Adelaide- This is a summary of a letter is from one of the missionaries that our church supports. They live in Vanuatu.
Mr. Gibb has a brother that also lives in Vanuatu. His name is Jimmy Kalo and his family is living with him there. Mrs. Kalo has a baby who is 15 months old. Her name is Cathy and she has trouble with her development. One of the prayer requests the Gibbs presented was for us to pray that the family can get good medicine for Baby Cathy. Some of the native people in Vanuatu believe that when they are sick, only the witch doctors can heal them. The Gibbs are having a hard time convincing them that the real approach is to call a doctor. We need to pray that the Gibbs can reach the souls of the natives. The Gibbs have a weekly bible club that they hold for children. Sometimes the adults join them. They have asked that we pray that the hearts of the children are touched by the Holy Spirit, telling them to believe in Him. The Gibbs need to have faith and trust the Lord to tell them what to do. The Gibbs ask us to pray that the Lord will send out more labourers for the harvest field.

That's it for today. Thanks for reading!
