Th One About Witnessing

When you are witnessing to someone, try to keep this post in mind.
Begin by asking this question: Do you believe that there is a god?
If answered no, point at something naturally made. (Bird, flower, tree, sky.) How did this thing come to be?
Point at something man-made. (Car, chair, shoe, pencil, carpet, book.) How did this come to be? Did it form by itself or did someone make it? Why do you say that someone made it?
If answered yes, ask this: What is God and how do you know?
By looking at His creation
Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest (made plain to understand) in them;for God hath shewed it unto them.
By reading the Bible, His word
2 Timothy 3: 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God...
John 17:17 ...Thy Word is truth.
God is Holy, set apart
Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else; there is no God beside me.
Isaiah 46:9 ...for I am God, and there is none else, I am God, and there is none like me.
He is creator
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
Psalm 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
He loves
John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him shall never perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down his life for us...

Indian Caste vs Christianity

First of all, I want to say sorry for not posting for such along time. To catch up, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Birthday(to me), and Happy Valentine's Day.

If you do not know what the Indian Caste System is, then I'll tell you. It is a system that divides the Indian population into four main groups. Look at the triangle diagram. You can see that the Brahmins (priests) are at the top. Long ago, the Kshatriyas (warriors, kings, nobles) were at the top, ruling. But as the country modernized, the need for warriors and kings shrank until the priests pushed their way ahead of them. The last group, the Sudras, are also known as the untouchables. They are the lowest of the low. If one of the Sudra's shadows touched someone of another group, the would be defiled. This is ridiculous thinking, but most Indians are fooled into believing it. Also, if you are born into a certain group, you can't marry out of it. Now, this is fine if you are in one of the upper class groups, but for the untouchables, it must be horrible.
A verse in the Bible says that everyone is equal. This means that the ICS is very unbiblical. If you were witnessing to a unsaved Indian person who believed in the caste system, don't you think that they would look on it as a wonderful way out the ICS?

Infinity: Heaven or Hell

Today I was thinking about what infinity meant. And I said, "I can't comprehend it all. Forever is never ending."
I prayed (see On Praying) to the Lord and He seemed to tell me that I need to tell more people about Him. I was really convicted. I was thinking about all the people that would spend their forever in Hell. I am just so blown away by this thought. I don't think that we'll ever understand fully what eternity is. There's really nothing to describe it. Sometimes, we (and me) go on with our lives as if after we die, nothing will happen. Sometimes I even doubt the existence of our Lord!  But that is only for the fools that do not trust in Jesus Christ!

Psalm 9:17 says, The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God.

This verse tells us that the wicked (those who reject God) will be thrown in Hell, but the verse does not tell us all the horrors of Hell. It is so easy to accept that we are sinners, yet people's pride holds them back. They can't accept that they are!

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

This means that we are sinners and can not get into Heaven unless we ask God to save us from sin and come into our hearts'. So today ask God to come into your heart and then, when you die, you will go to heaven to live with God.

On Praying

Prayer: Talking to God respectfully, believing that he will answer .(Answer spiritually, that is.)

There is a verse in the Bible that says, "And it came to pass, that, as he (Jesus) was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." Luke 11:1

Jesus did teach them to pray. We need to pray. Before I went to camp, I prayed, but it was out of habit, because I was told to. Now I know, that because God saved me and is my father now, just like I talk to my earthly father, I need to talk to the Lord each day. Just Father to Daughter.
But if we are asking for something, we need to make sure that we ask according to His will and that we always pray with confidence.

1 Thessalonians 17 says, Pray without ceasing.
